Vice President
Theo Robson is the Vice President of the Sea to Sky Chapter of Women in Aviation International, and currently serves as Chief of Staff at Canadian Advanced Air Mobility (CAAM), Canada’s national industry association for sustainable aviation innovation.
A graduate of BCIT’s Airport Operations program, Theo also spent time with both InterVISTAS Consulting and the Vancouver Airport Authority. He’s now leading a full-time role in aviation alongside part-time studies in psychology at UBC—driven by a curiosity about people, systems, and what makes both tick.
Theo’s love for aviation was sparked early during a visit to the YVR control tower with his dad and grandfather. But the real infatuation started in the departures terminal. To him, airports have always been a kind of magic. They hold stories in motion: tearful goodbyes, long-awaited reunions, the uncertainty of a one-way ticket, or the first breath of a new chapter. His favourite movie scenes almost always happen at the gate—those “will-they-won’t-they” moments, the dramatic last-minute dashes, the soft fade into a brand-new future. That cinematic feeling of motion, possibility, and human connection is what keeps him grounded in the world of airport operations and human messiness he holds dear.
Sea to Sky holds deep significance for Theo. Through leadership roles and mentorship, he’s come to understand how often things go unseen—especially by men—in the lived experiences of women in aviation. He’s honoured to listen, learn, and work alongside this incredible team to help create a more inclusive, safe, and empowering industry for all.
